Terms of Use
Draft for review, not yet in force. Last updated 30 October 2026.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of scottie.so (the “site”), which is run by Arjo Das (“scottie”, “we” or “us”), an individual in Singapore. By using the site, you agree to them; if you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
These terms cover the website only. If we invite you to use scottie itself, you’ll agree to its own terms before you start.
The site describes a product we’re building
- scottie is in development. What the site describes may change, arrive at different times, or not be available when you’re invited. Nothing on the site is a promise of a feature, a date or a result.
- The worked examples on the site (people, companies, documents, emails and figures) are invented. Any resemblance to real people or organisations is a coincidence.
- Nothing on the site is legal, financial or other professional advice.
Requesting early access
- Requesting early access is free. It doesn’t create a contract for any service, and it doesn’t guarantee an invitation. We invite teams in small groups, at our discretion.
- Give accurate details, and only your own, or someone else’s with their permission.
- Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the details you send.
Using the site
Please don’t:
- use the site for anything unlawful;
- interfere with the site, attack it, try to get around its security, or collect its content in bulk by automated means;
- send false details, someone else’s details without their permission, or spam through the form.
If you find a security problem, please tell us at security@scottie.so rather than exploit it.
Our content and brand
The site’s text, design, images and code, and the scottie name and logo, belong to us or the people who license them to us. You’re welcome to link to the site and to quote short passages with credit. Please don’t copy the site’s design, use our name or logo, or suggest that we endorse you, without our written permission. Open-source software used in the site stays under its own licence.
Other sites
The site may link to sites we don’t run. We’re not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
No warranties
We provide the site “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it’s accurate, complete, always available or free of errors.
Our liability
To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on it, including indirect or consequential loss. If we’re found liable to you anyway, our total liability is limited to S$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll publish the new version here with a new date; it applies from then on.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
